Upcoming Trip to Spain and Portugal

The excitement about my trip to the two countries that are the most different than the rest of Europe is finally starting to build up. It's such an ineffable rush that runs through my mind, body and soul as the unknown awaits. It's sort of expecting for an unknown journey into the self. After debating whether to go to Argentina and Brazil or Spain and Portugal; I decided to go to the "Madre Patria"; term which in Spanish-speaking countries can refer to the speaker's own home country or Motherland.

Adrenaline starts building up as I finally start to make preparations for this trip. As I listen to flamenco music, certain sounds, combination of sounds, or voices and just the thought of finding myself in a new and different place, cause an extraordinary stimulation of my brain.

I have been refusing to start blogging for a while, especially because of the egotistical approach that some of my artist friends have created which makes me sick to my stomach, but I have decided to give it a shot, mostly because it's much quicker and practical than updating my website and emailing people .

So.. on that note.. I will end my first post as I have to play around with the settings and tweak some design elements. This is one of the great songs playing in the background as I picture myself in this unknown land.
